J.J. College of Education
The JJ College of Education has been offering B.Ed. and M.Ed. degree courses on self financing mode from December 2005 and August 2007 respectively. Now, JJCE has been administrated by Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions form the academic year 2019-2020. At present it is functioning with 3 units of B.Ed. i.e having 300 student teachers and 2 units of M.Ed. with 100 scholars. From 2011 onwards the M.Ed intake for 2-Units are 100 scholar each Unit 50 students. Our human resources are also worth mentioning, as 21 fully qualified members staff the B.Ed. department and 20 experienced Professors take care of the M.Ed. Scholars. Our J.J. College of education is in the ambit of J.J. Educational Health and Charitable Trust, Trichy.
The Challenge of the present day is such that nobody can sit and look back of what happened or to live in fantasy to escape from the present. It is more so in the life of an Educational Institution. Irrespective of the Degrees or Diplomas for which the individual may be striving, the deepest desire in him is to get exposed to experiences that will equip him with necessary knowledge and skills capable of filling his life with all happiness and contentment.
In this contest J.J. College of Education has sprung up to cater to the needs of those aspiring to become Teachers and leaves no stone unturned for providing the best of everything in Teacher education.
Now by the strenuous efforts of the management, the Administrators and the Staff, the CENTRE FOR RESEARCH has been established as a crown to all achievements.

PMJF Lion. Dr. S. Ramamoorthiy hails from an Agricultural Family. He is a philanthropist, great visionary, humble and compassionate. He is an embodiment of all virtues. His involvement in serving the society with a human approach is well received appreciated, and glorified by the society.
From his early days onwards he firmly believes that Education alone will change the life of a person as the prosperity lies there. To fulfill his vision of reaching out the unreached and to provide modern education, with a journey started two decades ago, Sowdambikaa Group of Schools, today is having many schools and colleges with a strength of 30000 students and they are guided/motivated by 2900 Teachers.
He leads by example. He is admired by Teachers and staff. He is a loveable person to parents and students. Now JJ College of Engineering & Technology, Trichy is managed by Sowdambikaa Group of Schools, under his able leadership. Dr. S. Ramamoorthiy is a multifaceted personality and his quest for imparting knowledge through education is continuing, and miles to go before he fullfils his vision.

I Welcome you all to our J J College of Education (Sowdambikaa Group of Institutions). located at Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu State, India which is one of the leading research innovative Teacher education Institutions with the strength of 300 students in B.Ed course (Three Units) and 100 students in M.Ed course (Two Units) courses. Our college has got the recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education , Bangalore and affiliation from Tamilnadu Teachers Education University ,Chennai 600097. Our college has got the prestigious status of ’ A’ Grade Accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore.
